Lindsay Transfer and Storage did a great job for me and my family through all phases of our move. The crew was very professional, courteous and friendly. Along with their great work attitude, they kept me informed of everything they were doing and worked with me to ensure I pleased with the process. I will definitely use them again in the future!
Lindsay Mayflower helped us relocate three times over the last 11 years. Accordingly, I’m disheartened to write such a negative review. However, during our most recent move, they damaged a family heirloom (and the wall it hit as it dropped) which probably could have been averted if they bothered to use furniture padding as the Lindsay Mayflower supervisor said he directed his team to do.
To add insult to injury, they had the gall to try and force us to use their repair service which had bad online reviews. The insurance we purchased through them had no mention of using only their providers. When we refused, they ignored the estimate we obtained from a local repair shop ... (a shop they have used in the past for customer repairs). Instead, they sent a check for their guys price. They didn’t even have the courtesy to call and tell us that they were sending a check for less than the estimate we obtained.
We had a complex move (five deliveries) to make that included many family heirlooms and antiques, and everything arrived unscathed and in fine condition! Lindsay Transfer and Storage provided excellent service and care throughout.
When I called to inquire about why they ignored our estimate, they were rude and indifferent saying “we just don’t work that way.” As a result, I’d advise avoiding this company at all costs unless you are prepared to have your damaged and insurance that only pays according to their whim,
We would recommend Lindsay Transfer and Storage to anyone. We received excellent prompt service from start to finish. Job well done by friendly, professional staff in every phase of our move.
We needed to store and then move furniture from a relative that had passed away in Athens, GA to our home in Northern VA/DC. We had used Lindsay Transfer below to move other items when that individual had to move from her home into a care facility. We had a great experience then and thus went back to Lindsay Transfer to handle this move. Again, they were superb exceeding all our expectations. Highly recommend.
